2 BR modern apartment in one KattamyaKattameya questions
Can I pay in Egyptian pounds?
Yes. Card, cash, InstaPay or bank transfer, all in EGP. No international card is needed, and nothing is charged until your host confirms.
Is there a minimum stay in Kattameya?
Yes, set by the host for each apartment and shown on the listing. If your dates are one night short, the search results tell you rather than hiding the apartment.
How does check-in work?
Times are on every listing. Your host either meets you at the apartment with the keys or sets up self check-in, and tells you which once your booking is confirmed. If the apartment is in a gated compound, your host registers you with security so you are not held at the gate. Arriving late or on a delayed flight? Tell your host and they will arrange it.
Do I pay a deposit?
Two separate things, both shown on the listing before you book. The deposit is part of your total, paid once your host confirms to secure your dates, and each host sets how much it is. The damage hold is separate: some apartments take it at check-in and return it in full after check-out if the apartment is left as you found it.
Can I cancel a booking in Kattameya?
Set per apartment and shown on the listing before you book. Most are flexible, cancel up to 24 hours before check-in and everything above the deposit comes back. A few need 5 days and a few need 30.
Is electricity included?
Yes for stays of a few nights. For longer stays some apartments meter electricity separately; it’s stated on the listing, and your host tells you before you confirm.
Can I get an airport pickup?
Yes, airport pickup can be arranged with your host.
