Giza here means the old city on the west bank, not the pyramids plateau further out: Murad Street runs from Giza Square to the Nile, a few minutes’ walk from the Giza Zoo gate, Cairo University and El Giza metro station on Line 2. The Four Seasons at the First Residence is on the same stretch, which is how most taxi drivers find the building. Downtown and Tahrir Square are one bridge away, about 15 minutes by car.

Can I pay in Egyptian pounds?

Is there a minimum stay in Giza?
Yes, set by the host for each apartment and shown on the listing. If your dates are one night short, the search results tell you rather than hiding the apartment.
How does check-in work?
Times are on every listing. Your host either meets you at the apartment with the keys or sets up self check-in, and tells you which once your booking is confirmed. If the apartment is in a gated compound, your host registers you with security so you are not held at the gate. Arriving late or on a delayed flight? Tell your host and they will arrange it.
Do I pay a deposit?
Two separate things, both shown on the listing before you book. The deposit is part of your total, paid once your host confirms to secure your dates, and each host sets how much it is. The damage hold is separate: some apartments take it at check-in and return it in full after check-out if the apartment is left as you found it.
Can I cancel a booking in Giza?
